Just swap it out,
This drain pump worked exactly as expected and all I had to do was swap it out. The new pump has now been installed for several months and still works like it should. I doubt that I will have to replace it before replacing the washer now that I am aware of the garbage that collects in the trap.

pump fit perfect and it was very easy to install, took minutes to put in. just hope that the pump last ad long as the original .

Ordering this part online and installing it ourselves, saved us about $200.00 over hiring someone to fix it for us. It was easy to install and we found all of the instructions online. We installed it about a month ago and so far so good.
